An Experience

I volunteered to make this for my friend because he was looking at a big pile of debt if he didn't sell about 500 more tickets to this small festival he had organised. I understand that that it was appreciated and along with some other helpful friends his pile of debt is slightly less massive. This project involved rebuilding the original raster illustration in vector for animating using my tried and trusted After Effects workflow. That in itself was something of a click-and-drag marathon but as I was planning out the motion it also required close attention to the camera path as I wanted it to feel constantly active but never rushed within the 30s limit.
